Ole! Fun Burrito Coloring Pages

Hola amigos! My name is Daisy and today I’m sharing my favorite tips for drawing delicious burritos. As a children’s book illustrator who loves Mexican food, burritos are one of my go-to’s for adding spice to my art!

Mexican Food Coloring Pages

One of my favorite parts of burritos is all the yummy fillings. I like to start by coloring the tortilla with tans and browns. Then I’ll add slices of avocado, red onion, peppers, beans, rice, chicken – whatever sounds good!

The more fillings the better for a big, full burrito. I try to make the ingredients pop by using bright colors like red, green, yellow. A sprinkle of cilantro or cheese on top adds some extra flavor too.

Wrap Coloring Pages

Wrapping up all those fillings into a burrito is so fun. I outline the tortilla in a U-shape, then show the ingredients spilling out the ends. Overlapping the tortilla layers at the seam helps make it look rolled up neatly.

Don’t be afraid to get messy and let some rice or beans fall out of the burrito! It looks more realistic that way. You can add some sauce dripping down too for an extra yummy touch.
